Advance PR Opportunity:
Valentine's Day 2018
We're excited to announce that advance planning for Valentine's Day 2018 is getting started NOW!

Slowflowers.com is again working with Lola Honeybone and Mediaworkshop Nashville to begin promoting local and seasonal flowers for the upcoming romance-centric floral holiday.
Lola led the successful Press Launch for the unveiling of Slowflowers.com in 2014 and we're excited to work with her on this project. Why are we talking about Valentine's Day in September, you ask?
Consumer-focused print and broadcast media plans well in advance of bloggers and other "new media," so October is the month to get started on long-lead story placement for lifestyle magazines, broadcast media and wire services.
Do you want to get involved? Yes?! Great!!
Click on the link below to complete our story-starter survey. We'd love to include you in the press roundup of progressive and sustainable floral design for Valentine's Day giving!

Johnny's Seeds' November Newsletter

Slowflowers.com has been partnering with our sponsor Johnny's Selected Seeds to contribute a series of fresh, flower-focused articles to The Advantage, Johnny's monthly newsletter.
We are featuring Slowflowers.com members, their flowers and their design work in the process! Our NOVEMBER article, the final one of 2017, takes a look at how Slowflowers.com members are creating ON-FARM WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS.
Here are the questions to answer when you submit photos:
  1. Describe event or workshop, including DATE(s) and TITLE(s)
  2. How many people attended?
  3. What were your goals for the event? (education? revenue? marketing?)
  4. What tips to you have for other flower farmers who want to try staging events/workshops?
Send your answers and images you'd like to share to: debraprinzing@gmail.comDeadline is October 15thAs a small measure of our thanks, Johnny’s would like to offer an offer code for use on your next purchase if we feature your material in the article.
