Cloches and bell jars have been used for centuries to display and protect items of adoration - they are beautiful and romantic. For his last video of his 2019 Mayesh Design Star series, Shean demonstrates his spin on a classic white centerpiece using a cloche perfect for your upcoming holiday parties or winter weddings. Click the button to watch the video, get more details and scroll through the beautiful images (perfect for pinning). 📌

Holiday Charity Drive 2019

Every holiday season each Mayesh branch chooses a charity to support in a holiday charity drive. In addition to a donation from Mayesh, we open contributions to our staff and customers to help raise awareness, money and collect items for those in need each holiday season.

In honor of today being Giving Tuesday, we wanted to share with you the charities we are supporting this year. Learn more about the charities below, and contact your sales rep to find out how you can contribute too.

Mornings with Mayesh: Rachael Lunghi of Siren Floral Co.

For our November episode of Mornings with Mayesh, Rachael Lunghi of Siren Floral Co. joined Yvonne to answer your flower questions. Topics like Rachael's design philosophy, creative burnout, ordering flowers, and more were discussed.

If you tune in and enjoy our show, I would love for you to share this video with your flower friends or leave a comment below - if you have time for both then even better!

The Question of an 'Industry Standard'

Oh the age old question of the 'industry standard.' We are asked about this time and time again as it's something mused over a lot in our industry! Today on the blog we have Curate's Ryan O'Neil to discuss his take on the topic, read on to hear his thoughts!

MDS Nashville Workshop Recap

Our second stop on our 2019 Design Star workshop tour took us to Nashville, TN in May. Shean Strong led a group of students with varying floral backgrounds through a two-day workshop that focused on fundamentals for both centerpiece designs as well as a large-scale installation. Read on to learn more about the two-day workshop and see the beautiful blooms the students got to work with!
Putnam & Putnam Flower Color Guide Mayesh Houston

Putnam & Putnam at Mayesh Houston

Last week, Mayesh Houston along with Fleur de Vie & Allied Florists of Houston hosted a wonderful event for the Texas floral community. Renowned New York design team, Putnam & Putnam, traveled to Houston to promote their book Flower Color Guide, a labor of love they have put their hearts and souls into in order to fill a gap they felt was missing in the industry. Over 100 floral designers & Garden Club members joined together in our Houston warehouse to learn about the Putnams journey into the world of flowers, how their book came to be, and watch a spectacular centerpiece demo by Mikey Putnam.

**We will be announcing the dates & details for our 2 U.S. workshops for 2020**

What kind of content do you want to see in the future? What questions do you have? What can we help with? Please feel free to share your comments with me.
Have a rockin' week!
