Amy Balsters+Roses and Mint
Amy Balsters
Amy Balsters is a passionate floral design educator with vast industry experience spanning two decades in retail floristry and special events. She has worked in many facets of the industry but her expertise as a professional freelance designer and running her special events floral design company, Amy Nicole Floral since 2012 have been her favorite roles until now. Amy found her true calling blending flowers and education and now primarily teaches, trains and consult floral designers across the country through private and group workshops.
Roses and Mint
Roses & Mint is in our sixth year of creating floral art for our incredible couples. Based in St. Charles, MO, we love working with clients all over the Midwest (and beyond!). We offer both custom floral design and a la carte services, and design for around 175 couples each year. A natural, garden-inspired design is our jam though we love keeping our design skills sharp in every style.

Floral Disaster Training Sweet Root Village

Floral Disaster Training

To help prepare our team for anything that may come their way, we held a two-day, in-house training with our design team focusing on details, speed, and then “disasters.” The idea behind “disaster day” was to demystify some “worst-case scenarios” that our team may face onsite and give them some ideas for quick ways to find a solution...
