USE EMOTIONS TO SELL FLOWERS
As you are gearing up for Mother’s Day sales, keep in mind that research suggests that about 85 percent of buying decisions are based on emotion. Therefore, direct your staff to use evocative phrases and words, such as lush, gorgeous, opulent, classic, memorable, long lasting, etc. If you write sales scripts for your menu items, include such words in your descriptions, or create talking points and keep them near the phones.
