Easy candle cleanup

img2Holiday parties call for candles – and usually in abundance.

Adding a small layer of water to your votive and other candle cups not only adds to the reflective quality of the light, but, most importantly, it ensures that burned-down candles will pop immediately out of the votives for easy cleanup.

The larger the event, the more tedious measuring that water into the votive cups can be.

Simply drop an ice cube into each one, and it will melt to create just the right layer of liquid by the time the party starts.

For candelabra, spray a non-stick cooking spray onto the arms before you place your candles. Any wax drips won’t stick.

Thank you for your interest in the flower classroom.
