Design Technique: Stacking
Stacking is the orderly placement of like materials, either individually or in bunches, side by side or on top of each other with no space in between. Stems of materials may be stacked either horizontally (the most common) or vertically. With horizontal stacking, stems may be arranged closely together in the side of a block of foam or literally laid on top of each other. Here, Cocculus leaves are threaded on to the stem of a Gerbera. Each of the leaves is punched with a hole punch.

A students review of the flower classroom & instructor
Today I am sharing a Students review of the flower classroom class: Explore Floral Design
Her class began in January for 12 Mondays and ended on April 6th. I ask every student that enrolls into this class to give me and the classroom a review, I know I can't impove myself or the classroom without this review of what the students are thinking!
**Please tell me about your experience:
Great! Going into this loving flowers, but knowing nothing about floral design. Learning as not just playing with flowers there is a lot to know, so I have learned alot. This has been a life changing experience for me. I look at flowers in a new way also. Thank you.
**Did the class hit or miss the mark for you?
Has hit the mark for me. I am very happy with this class. Over & above.
**Did the cost of the class= the value??
Cost= the value...yes I don't regret spending this amount & happy to continue to invest in myself with you & spend more.
**What was the best day of class for you??
Best day of class...Every Monday was like a vacation day for me. Shopping was fun.
** What was the most challenging??
Nothing comes easy; spray on Sympathy day.
My Review:
Learning from Christina has been so helpful in so many ways. She is very willing to give good advice in order to help you achieve whatever your floral dream might be. After taking the 12 day basic floral design class I am happy to continue to invest in myself and take her 5 day advanced class also.
At the end of the day, you go home with beautiful floral designs that you are also proud enought to give away.
I feel blessed to have found her.
Vicki Gayle
To Vicki:
Thank you so much for taking the time to share yourself in the classroom! I am also blessed to have such amazing students that I learn so much from as well.
The journey that you take in floral design is challenging...but so rewarding in so many ways I can't begin to express....but if you join this amazing experience you will be on the path of floral PASSION!
Sincerely,
Christina Burton-Fox AIFD
