Kids Holiday floral design class (10 & up)

Kids floral design class		Maximum 6 students 10am to 12noon     Saturday          December 1,2012

Overview This class will teach you how to design fresh & permanent flowers for a Christmas holiday gift.  This Kid friendly class (10years or older) will give them a great gift for someone special. The children can be parent free in this 2hour class.  Each child must be able to use scissors & wire cutters in class.  A sitting area outside the classroom is available for parents. Activities Each student will have materials provided to execute these design. Floral Design Tools All tools for this class are available in the classroom. FLOWERS are beautiful creations.  The curiosity and enthusiasm for information about flowers is contagious.  Enroll in the Flower Classroom for the most up to date information….When the ordinary won’t do…take yourself somewhere new!

Materials Fresh flowers and foliage’s will be provided for the design.  These designs are yours to take with you at the end of class. Flower selection will be seasonal and all wire, tape, glue, etc. will be available. Evening Floral Design~ for the Holidays		Maximum 6 students 5pm to 9pm November 28,29,30, 2012

Overview This week of evening classes will be for the enthusiast and the floral professional.  We will cover each night a new design style and technique.  All the designs will have a demonstration to get your creative juices flowing and then you interpret the materials for your signature design.  Five nights of floral fun and when the week ends some great Christmas pieces for your home or fabulous gifts!  Two of the designs you will be able to refresh them at home to last the entire month. Objectives You will design with fresh and permanent flowers executing new design techniques.  You add your creative touch. 3 designs we will create: ·       Centerpiece…fresh and permanent materials ·       Door or fireplace design…permanent ·       Powder room design…fresh and permanent Activities Each student will have materials provided to execute the designs. Floral Design Tools The classroom will provide all the tools needed in the class.  Additional tools available for purchase. Objectives You will design with fresh flowers and execute new design techniques. Activities Each student will have materials provided to execute these design. Floral Design Tools All tools for this class are available in the classroom. Evaluation A certificate of completion of this class will be available upon request.
