Northwest District of the Federated Garden Clubs of Missouri ~~ Floral Design Program

I had a wonderful opportunity to do a floral design demonstration for the Northwest District of Federated Garden Clubs of Missouri, in St. Joe Missouri Tuesday evening May 14, 2013.

My dear friend, & floral design mentor Bill Harper AIFD,  was unable to do this program...so I filled in...and here are some of the designs and concepts from Bill's... Nature Takes Over Program.

I can't thank enough our design friends Susie Irwin & Joyce Bregin for all the help with prep work, assembling and presenting these designs for the 250 garden club enthusiasts in the room.  You just don't do all this alone....

We dedicated this program to Mr. Bill....wishing him a speedy recovery....
 Nature Takes Over...

A couple of special hand tied bouquets were done on stage, and a clear glass vessel with stunning white Flowers......
Go BIG or go HOME...LOL :)   All the left over materials + some great garden flowers from a local garden club enthusiast!  Love that Lilac....
 Sexy Pink Hanging Heliconia

 A lilac Summer Garden

 Freedom Roses

Sweet peas, lilac, allium, pink kale, green hanging amaranthus, pink hydrangea, lilac scabiosa, fern...just to name a few flowers in this garden!
Dedicated to Bill..inspiration of Nature with water, weeds, and the nestling of Antlers....I was just missing a feather or two....
Enjoy the designs...the Ladies were thrilled!  Me too!!  Always glad to share my passion with FLOWERS and DESIGN.....many~many~ thanks to Bill for all he has taught me....
