Vacation with a purpose

Florists Review Magazine       tip of the week

Vacation with Purpose

img2Travel plans before the summer ends? Anytime you’re in a new city, take the opportunity to visit area flower shops. Introduce yourself, observe and ask questions. It’s a great way to learn something new and see what is working for other florists.

Do a little research online before your trip. One way to find great shops is to check out their websites; top-notch shops will have a creative web presence.

If you can, contact the shop(s) ahead of time. You may even be able to arrange a time for a brief tour and meetup. You have knowledge and experience that you can share from your shop, as well!

___________________________________________________________

I always visit a flower shop, and a Flower Market if they have one...basically anything floral related!!

At that new shop....
So great to put a face with a name of possibly someone you send orders to...or connect about your passion with flowers!

Christina
