Basic Floral Design ~ 2

Overview This is the next step in the creative design series for students that have taken an Amazon Groupon or Living Social class.  We build upon the design skills from the first class and apply new techniques and principals.  This Basic~2 Floral Design Class will teach additional principals of design.   The class will have a lecture and hands on designing.  Students will participate in the processing and handling of fresh flowers for the lab session, time permitting.   FLOWERS are beautiful creations, the curiosity and enthusiasm for information on FLOWERS is contagious.  Take yourself somewhere new….to the Flower Classroom.  Learn to be a FLOWER expert. Objectives ·       Introduction to mass/round design  ·       Color terms and theory ·        Processing and handling of fresh flowers  ·       Flower & Foliage identification ·       Hands on design of basic form of hand tied design ·       Techniques in finishing this design  Activities Each student will have materials provided to execute all designs.  The classroom also has additional books, supplies and flowers for purchase.  This allows students to practice additional designs at home. Floral Design Tools All tools provided for each student.  New tools can be purchased in the classroom. Materials Fresh flowers and foliage’s and the containers will be provided for all the designs.  These designs are yours to take with you at the end of each class day. Flower selection will be seasonal.  The classroom will have a wide selection of flowers to choose from for design execution.  You will have permanent materials and all wire, tape, glue, etc. will be provided. Additional materials can be purchased for continued practice outside of the classroom Class Registration To register for this class: Registration & Class Materials                    $75.00 This amount is due in full to reserve your design table.  Payment can be made with a check, major credit card and pay pal.
