Accent Decor Great Gatsby shoot

Accent Decor, Inc.

Because so many of you have been requesting some more peeks into our Great Gatsby shoot, I'm happy to share a few more pictures with you here today.

The day of the Great Gatsby shoot dawned muggy and cloudly, not to mention surprisingly hot for May, even for Atlanta. We were thankful, however, for the shade as Ginny finished ironing linens and Amy plucked and styled flowers, both of them in their adorable straw hats.

Amy's flowers were so beautiful. And she just kept foraging and found the perfect touches to finish everything off perfectly.

We had everything all set up beneath a beautiful back-drop of cascading flowers, until the sun came out. And then we had to move everything across the lawn to chase the shade. And did I mention how hot it was? That sun coming out only made it hotter!

The shoot was at a private estate in Lullwater, and the grounds were incredible beautiful. We kept exploring and finding new nooks and crannies to hide in and shoot.

And the every-talented Ginny would just keep arranging and re-arranging until everything was just right.

Next we headed down into this wooded area where they had some old carnival toys, and this rusted-top table that was so beautiful and full of texture and color. Slowly but surely we kept going to get more flowers and vases and candlesticks and even a chair, until we had everything nestled into this little secret enclave.

Then Amy decided she needed to put together a little hand-tied bouquet to finish the look. Of course, she was right!Great Gatsby styled shoot - florals by @AmyOsaba and florals by @GinnyBranch

Finally, we re-assembled our entire table set-up in a more shaded part of the grounds. Once everything was moved and re-arranged until it was just exactly right, I snapped some pictures, and we called it a day.

Again, I cannot speak highly enough of both of these lovely ladies and the hard work and talent they pour into their work. We were honored for the chance to put this together alongside them and hope to work together again sometime!

Beautiful Outdoor Wedding on July 27

The Jagoda family had a wonderful day on July 27 for their son's wedding.  Who would of guessed it would be a high of 80 degrees that day???
They loved the flowers....I did too!  Had a great time building this real birch tree Chuppah, perfect for the back yard setting.
